Graphite electrodes are made of the highest quality petroleum coke and imported needle coke, which are widely used in electric arc furnaces and refining furnaces, and are suitable for the production of alloy steel and other metal and non-metal materials. Varieties include: ordinary power, high power, quasi-ultra-high power (non-national standard), ultra-high power graphite electrode, the specification is Φ300-Φ600, the product has low resistivity, good electrical and thermal conductivity, good oxidation resistance, thermal shock resistance And strong resistance to mechanical vibration, high mechanical strength, high mechanical processing strength and so on.
Application field
The use of graphite electrodes is mainly reflected in the following points:
(1) Used in electric arc steelmaking furnace. Graphite electrodes for steelmaking account for about 70-80% of the total amount of graphite electrodes.
(2) Used in submerged heat electric furnace. Graphite electrode submerged thermal electric furnace is mainly used to produce ferroalloy, pure silicon, yellow phosphorus, matte and calcium carbide, etc.
(3) For resistance furnace. It is used in the production and processing of graphite products, melting glass and production of silicon carbide in resistance furnaces.
Selection of product specifications
The choice of graphite electrodes is more or less related to the capacity of the electric furnace, the type of the electric furnace, the size of the transformer, the size of the secondary current, and the type of smelted steel. We can match the appropriate electrode for the customer according to the furnace type, transformer size, and current. .
Product Instructions
1. Special tools should be used for graphite electrode hoisting, crowbars are strictly prohibited, and collision damage should be prevented during handling.
2. Graphite electrodes are prohibited from being soaked in rain, snow and water, and should be kept dry.
3. Before connecting the graphite electrode, carefully check whether the electrode joint hole is intact, whether the joint thread is damaged, and whether the joint bolt is lost.
4. The dust and sundries in the joints and joint holes must be blown off with compressed air, and other items are strictly prohibited to be used for cleaning.
5. Before use, it should be dried in a drying oven, the oven temperature should not exceed 150°C, and the drying time should not be less than 30 hours.
6. The electrodes should be closely connected, and a professional torque wrench should be used to prevent excessive or small force, and no tilting is allowed.
7. The electrode chuck should be clamped, not loose and in good contact, and no arc should be generated.
8. In order to prevent the electrode from breaking, the small pieces of material in the furnace should be placed on the upper part, and the insulating material should not be placed in the upper part. The working current of the electrode should be compatible with the allowable current of the electrode in the manual.
